Shmulke (Szmul Wasersztajn) gave testimony before the Jewish Historical Commission in 1945. This testimony became the basis of Jan Gross’s book Neighbors: The Destruction of the Jewish Community in Jedwabne, Poland, a slim volume packed with a huge charge.
